This project I created in 2015, themed around WPA posters from the 1930's. The objective was to create a poster for a movie or musical in the style of an existing WPA poster. I chose the classic horror film, Rosemary's Baby for a Doll & Buggy Parade poster.

I eventually decided that the more green and red poster would give me more creative freedom to match the tone of the movie.
After reaching a good point with the carriage, I wanted to decide on fonts to present the poster as a fake play or musical.

I loved working on this project because this really gave me a comfortable idea of how Adobe Illustrator works. If I could fix anything, I would just mess with the fonts a little more, the placement of the text, and the part of the carriage that is cut out. Overall, I enjoy the simplistic humor of the poster. The palette is limited and definitely has the WPA vibe to it, yet it feels crisp and modern.
